UEFA Nations League returns: Poland vs Netherlands

The second leg of the Nations League, a multi-divisional competition for UEFA’s 55 member nations divided into merit-based groups on coefficients, is currently on-going with all eyes on qualification for Qatar.

England vs Iceland

England 1.20| Draw 6.90| Iceland 17.00

Kick-off: 18th November 2020 7:45pm (GMT)

England welcomes Iceland to Wembley as they play in the 2020 UEFA Nations League after their loss to Belgium on Sunday.

The English squad can no longer qualify for next year’s UEFA Nations League finals, while Iceland have already been relegated to League B.

Our Tip: England to score over 2.5 goals against Iceland @1.63

Iceland are bottom of Group A2 with no points, and England will be hoping to produce a better performance than they did in their previous match in September.

England and Iceland have played three matches in which the English side has won two games and a draw,  with Iceland not recording a win.

Tip: Both teams to score in this match @2.74

In the UEFA Nations League, the two teams played only a game in which England won one against Iceland. In the UEFA European Championship, the two teams played one game which resulted in a draw.

Poland vs Netherlands

Poland 3.95| Draw 3.75| Netherlands 1.99

Kick-off: 18th November 2020 7:45pm (GMT)

Poland will be hosting Netherlands on Wednesday when they play their crucial match in the UEFA Nations League Finals.

Netherlands go into the match holding a one-point advantage over their hosts, whose 2-0 defeat in Italy gifted Gli Azzurri control of League A Group 1.

Our Tip: Poland to score Netherlands over 2.5 goals @1.81

As far as Poland are concerned, they need a win to get a grip of the top spot in the group courtesy of the setback in Italy.

A draw for Poland will be enough to put Jerzy Brzeczek’s side in a favorable position ahead of their next outing.

The Polish have kept clean sheets in seven of their last nine home matches and will definitely want to defend that.

Tip: Both teams to score in this match @1.76

In September, Jerzy Brzecek’s side were physical and stubborn opponents and the Netherlands will expect more of the same in a game where both sides are playing for a potential place in the final four.

Both of these teams have scored just five goals in five matches in the group stage and the statistics point to another low-scoring encounter.

Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Italy

Bosnia-Herzegovina 9.20| Draw 5.20| Italy 1.36

Kick-off: 18th November 2020 7:45pm (GMT)

Italy will travel to Stadion Grbavica to play Bosnia-Herzegovina in their UEFA Nations League group match.

The Balkan Dragons have been struggling in this year’s UEFA competition, with the team collecting only two points.

Our Tip: Both teams to score in this game @2.00

The Italians will reach the finals of the competition if they win or even if they draw and the Netherlands fail to beat Poland.

Italy’s head coach, Roberto Mancini, is still in quarantine, his assistant, Alberigo Evani, must continue to helm a slimmed-down squad, which initially comprised a bloated 41 names, in the Bosnian capital.

Bosnia-Herzegovina have failed to win any of their opening seven matches with only one away victory with Liechtenstein – to show from their last ten outings.

Tip: Italy to record clean sheet @1.93

After their Euro 2020 playoff semi-final defeat at the hands of Northern Ireland, Bosnia-Herzegovina twice conceded three goals in consecutive defeats to Poland and the Netherlands.
